Come join us for a fun-filled kids' development camp aimed at first-timers to advanced riders. Beginners will learn the basics of wake surfing, from using the rope to get up to understanding board riding and wave position. Intermediates will gain more experience surfing,​ utilizing the entire wave and beginning turns and spins. Advanced riders will benefit by learning new tricks, including 360s and airs.

This includes land-based guidance and activities to improve the experience behind the boat. Your child will leave the camp more confident in their abilities and hopefully with new tricks to show off to their friends.

The day will progress as follows: all kids will be given the same amount of time and coaching, with the ability to learn from each other.

AUTUMN HOLIDAYS

What are we going to do?

09:00 - 09:30

  • Kids morning meeting. Additional options: 8:30 am early drop off $10 (per session).

09:30 - 10:00

  • Warm-up (preparing children for an active sports day).

10:00 - 12:00

Wakesurfing lessons #1:

  • Safety briefing for kids.

  • Individual instruction for each child on land, explaining how their wakesurfing lesson will take place and what they need to do on the water.

  • Practice on the water.

12:00 - 13:00

  • Lunch (bring your own) or you can order food here >>>

  • Free time for kids to socialise, play board games, or just relax (in the shade).

13:00 - 15:00

  • Wakesurfing lessons #2

  • Swimming time.

  • Balance Board lesson

15:00-15:30

  • Day review and wrap-up.

  • Discussing the day’s activities

  • Planning for the next day

  • Kids pickup

Who is this Camp for?

Kids of all levels of ability and fitness from 8 years old and upwards. From beginners to intermediates and advanced.

What should Kids bring to Camp?

  • Boardies / Swim shorts / Wetsuit (we recommend a 2/3 mm ).

  • Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat etc.).

  • Water to drink.

  • Towel.

  • Change of clothes.

  • Snacks (fruits, water, healthy snacks).
